  3. This archive contains Copland-style icons for Apple’s venerable SimpleText (neé TeachText) text editor. The TEXT icon was copied from the Read Me distributed with MaraOS, a wicked utility for the game Marathon.

  5. • “Brento’s SimpleText Icons” is a ResEdit document. Just copy all resources and paste into SimpleText, and your plethora of Read Mes will have a new, happy look.
  6.  
  7. • For those uncomfortable with using ResEdit, “TEXT” and “ttro” are empty documents with the custom icons pasted in the Finder’s “Get Info…” window. You may copy and paste the icon to your heart’s content.
